If you think this title is misleading to what I am going to say in the following paragraph, then you are the right audience.
When we think about power, we envision action, reaction, incursion. Powerful is the one who is entitled to rule and overrule. He defends his territory, his point of view. He hangs on. All means are acceptable. What if there is a greater power: seeing the big picture, taking distance, and letting go when things are not worth it?
Letting things go takes a lot of effort and maturity. It is the synonym of living in the now.
What would you envy your greatest power to be: to hang on to things relentlessly or to let go and move on effectively?
“Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”
Eckhart Tolle
