There is no winner in a war

Wars make people lose. The attacker and the attacked lose the same. The resources, the energies, the collateral damages, the people… during… The shame, the embarrassment, the regrets… after… A war lasts for eternity in the realms of history. It becomes the most horrific memory of our collective consciousness.

The fight for power, the fight of revenge, the fight of the unsettled has been fought many times. It revealed the darkest parts of our natures. None gained. We all lost.

At work, just like in politics, I watch aggressive people with curiosity. What do they fight for, undefined? Even they lose track of why they started. It feels like drama feeds some people, and they crave negativity.

Kindness, on the other hand, is the weapon that works every time. So does patience. Unfortunately, we are not taught about them.

When you feel like starting a quarrel, take a walk instead. The meaninglessness of everything will rise at every step.

“Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war.”

Albert Einstein
